What is Inquiry Learning?
Inquiry Learning is... * more than just a report of facts. * taking what you KNOW and adding RESEARCH, then DRAWING YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS. * higher-level thinking. * looking closely at (examining) facts * requesting information in answer to something you wonder about. * a systematic (certain steps are taken) investigation. Inquiry Steps: * Research your topic to become an expert. Research in books, on websites and by speaking with people. * Conduct further research in order to be ready to answer inquiry questions. * THINK ABOUT your research. Decide upon answers to your Inquiry question. * Choose a format (or perhaps your teacher will assign one) for presenting your Inquiry results to others.
